Pastor Scott Ochsner, Senior Pastor & President

Pastor Scott graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in 1993 with his diploma in Practical Theology. In 1994 he received another diploma in Youth Ministry from Christ for the Nations. In March of 1996 Pastor Scott went into full time ministry as a Youth Pastor at City on the Hill Church in Boulder, Colorado. There he took a group of around 15 youth, raised them up, and after 4 1/2 years the small group grew to around 150 youths.

In October of 2000 the Lord called Pastor Scott and his family to take over a church that was struggling in Decatur, Indiana. In their first service they had 27 people. With the Lord's direction Pastor Scott decided to cancel all existing memberships and start new and afresh by building a new foundation based on the word of God and on faith. By the time foundations were done, the church was back on track!

Still excited by the vision God had given him, Pastor Scott knew that the existing facility would not accommodate the vision, so the church, in July of 2003, went on a 21 day corporate fast to seek His direction for the body of believers there. During that time the Lord had told Pastor Scott to move the church hub from Decatur to Bluffton, Indiana (aprox. 18 miles).

Since then the church has acquired and renovated a 6.58 acre facility that the Lord had told them about in July of 2003 during that fast.

Pastor Scott resides near Bluffton with his wife, Pastor Michelle, and their 5 wonderful children, Joshua, Samuel, Corban, Moriah and Zachary.

Pastor Michelle grew up in Maine and at the age of 18, the Lord led her to Dallas to Christ For The Nations Institute to prepare for her calling into the ministry.

Pastor Michelle met her husband, Pastor Scott, at CFNI in Dallas, Texas in 1992. After 1 1/2 years of dating they were married in August of 1994. After Pastor Scott graduated CFNI in 1994, they moved to Boulder, Colorado where they entered into full time youth ministry in March of 1996.

While in Boulder, after a sequence of unforeseen events in 1997, Pastor Michelle, out of desperation, sought out to become enlightened in the area of divine healing. As she grew in revelation and having received a miraculous breakthrough in her own physical body, her senior pastor asked her to teach a healing class in her home church, which ran a total of 6 consecutive months. Many were enlightened and greatly helped by her insight into the Word on Healing.

In October of 2000, Pastor Michelle and her family were moved, by the Lord, to Indiana to take over a slowly dying church. Pastor Michelle was ordained into full time ministry in June of 2002. She continues to teach and preach alongside her husband at ALCC. Pastor Michelle continues to share the word of healing that supernaturally changed her life. She is also, presently, the worship leader at ALCC.

Pastor Michelle currently resides in Bluffton, Indiana with her husband, Pastor Scott, and their 5 beautiful children.

Merlin E. Troyer,
Associate Minister & Secretary/Treasurer

Merline Troyer was raised in the old order Amish for the first 17 years of his life. He then left that denomination in search of fulfillment. It wasn't until the age of 25 Merlin made Jesus the Lord of his life.

In July of 1999, Merlin went on staff to work full-time at a local full-gospel church. Since October of 2000, Merlin, has faithfully served Pastors Scott and Michelle Ochsner and continues to serve them at Abundant Life Christian Center.

Merlin was ordained into full-time ministry in November of 2001.

Merlin continues to have a good relationship with his Amish parents. He presently resides in Bluffton with his wife, Wendy, and has 4 boys, Toby, Canaan, Jordan and Silas.
