Is it Always God's will to Heal?
This is a question that plagues the minds of many of God's children today...if I get sick, is it always God's will to heal me? We, as children of God, must base what we believe on the Word of God. Romans 10:17 KJV states: “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the WORD OF GOD.” Too many times we allow the opinions, experiences, beliefs, and traditions of others to dictate to us what God wills in our lives, especially in the area of divine healing. But, what does God's Word say?

Isaiah 53:4-5 AMP states that “Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows, and pains (of punishment), yet we (ignorantly) considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God (as if with leprosy). But He was wounded for OUR transgressions, He was bruised for OUR guilt and iniquities; the chastisement (needful to obtain) peace and well-being FOR US was upon Him, and with His stripes, (that wounded) Him WE are healed and made whole.”

David prayed in Psalm 103:1-3 KJV: "Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all this is within me, bless His Holy Name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget NOT all His benefits; Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all THY diseases;

3 John 2 AMP states: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and (that your body) may be kept well, even as (I know) your soul keeps well and prospers."
